What is the need for control and coordination system in an organism?

The process through which two or more organs interact and complement the function of each other is called Coordination.

In most of the multicellular organisms body is very complex and to produce a response to a stimulus different organs must work together in a proper way.

Thus all organisms have some mechanism for control and coordination. For example, animals have nervous system and endocrine system for control and coordination.
