The ${MO}$ electronic configuration of ${N}_2^{+}$(total electrons 13) is

$\sigma 1 s^2 \sigma^* 1 s^2 \sigma 2 s^2 \sigma^* 2 s^2\left[\begin{array}{l}\pi 2 p_x^2 \\\pi 2 p_y^2\end{array} 2 p_z^1\right.$

As one unpaired electron is present in $\sigma 2 p_z {MO}$, ${N}_2^{+}$cannot be diamagnetic, it is paramagnetic in nature.
