Amazon India received the National Award for Empowerment of Persons with Disabilities from President Smt. Droupadi Murmu at Vigyan Bhavan on the International Day of Persons with Disabilities.

One of the key initiatives undertaken by Amazon India is the significant increase in the onsite representation of Persons with Disabilities (PWDs).

The company has achieved a remarkable 2X increase in off-roll representations (2400+) and an 8X increase in on-roll representations (85+) across its operations sites in India.

Amazon India has actively collaborated with both central and state governments, signing Memoranda of Understanding (MoUs) to provide employment opportunities for individuals with disabilities.
