Why was Sonal Mansingh making a new start at Rang Bhawan? Explain.

Ans. Sonal was making a new start because she had met with a car accident in which she had been badly injured about eight months back. She had become unable to perform her dance due to injury in her vertebra, ribs and collar-bone. As such this was the first time she would dance in public again after a break of some eight months due to serious accident on 20th April 1975. She presented her grand dance performance and danced for two and half hours.
