Ans. The writer, as per story, seems to be an intelligent person along with keen insight. He had developed his insight. It had removed the inconvenience due to his blindness to the maximum, It is proved by his tactful dealings with a girl passenger, travelling in the same compartment of the train. So nicely he dealt with her that she could not know of her being a blind. He also seems to be a gentle and submissive person. His nice behaviour had very much impressed the girl without eyesight and she praised him saying.-"You are a very gallant young man." The writer had skilfully dealt with another person who got into the compartment at Shahjahanpur. When the newcomer cracked a joke at him, saying, "I'm sorry I'm not as attractive a travelling companion as the one who just left." Then the writer immediately asked him about the hair style of the girl. He tactfully wanted to know whether her hair were long or short. In his reply the newcomer told him that he was looking at her beautiful eyes and her hair, the writer easily could know that the girl had beautiful eyes with a charming face. But the said passenger could not know till the last that the writer was a blind person. Thus, it is seen that throughout the story that the writer possessed an impressive personality.
