Ans. The temple of Pashupatinath is very popular among the Hindus. So a large number of people visit here daily. These worshippers and visitors come from different parts of the world. So it makes a crowd here. According to the author there is much confusion in and around the temple. Besides priests, hawkers, devotees and tourists, some animals like cows and dogs roam through. Monkeys are seen fighting. Some people y to get the attention of the priests. A group of pilgrims claimingto be Hindus, struggle hard for entering the temple. Offerings like flowers and leaves are dropped from a balcony into the river Bagmati.
