SOLUTION : Here $\tan ^{-1}(1)+\cos ^{-1}\left(-\frac{1}{2}\right)+\sin ^{-1}\left(-\frac{1}{2}\right)=\tan ^{-1}\left(\tan \frac{\pi}{4}\right)+\left[\cos ^{-1}\left(-\frac{1}{2}\right)+\sin ^{-1}\left(-\frac{1}{2}\right)\right]$

$=\tan ^{-1}\left(\tan \frac{\pi}{4}\right)+\left[\cos ^{-1}\left(-\frac{1}{2}\right)+\sin ^{-1}\left(-\frac{1}{2}\right)\right]=\frac{\pi}{4}+\frac{\pi}{2} \quad\left[\because \sin ^{-1} x+\cos ^{-1} x=\frac{\pi}{2}\right] \\$

$=\frac{\pi+2 \pi}{4}=\frac{3 \pi}{4}$
