India and Malaysia celebrated 65 years of diplomatic relations in the previous year. In 2022, India became Malaysia's 11th largest trading partner, with total trade reaching RM 86.22 billion (USD 19.63 billion), representing a substantial 23.6 percent increase compared to the previous year.
