Ans. Abdul Kalam and Ramanadha Sastry reported this incident to their father. Lakshman Sastry took it seriously. He summoned the respective teacher soon. He, in the presence of the children, asked him not to spread communal hatred and intolerance among the innocent children. He bluntly asked the teacher to apologise or quit the school. He didn't regret his behaviour. But he was compelled to withdraw the punishment inflicted on A. P. J. Abdul Kalam.
