Tuberculosis is also called Koch's Disease. It is a bacterial disease caused by Mycobacterium tuberculosis.

Mode of infection includes droplet infection from infected person or food/drink. In which damage of Lung tissue and other organs of body.

  1. BCG vaccine gives protection against T.B.
  2. Infected person should be isolated from others.
  3. When coughing/sneezing, then infected person should keep handker chief before his/her mouth.
  4. Use of drugs like Isoniazid, streptomycin and Rifampicin to treat tuberculosis.
