Cholera is a bacterial disease which is highly transmitted. It is caused by bacteria Vibrio Cholera.

Mode of Transmission is contaminative, i.e. through contaminated food, water etc.

Important Symptoms of disease are frequent vomitting, frequent loose motions along with water loss from body.

Treatment —

  1. Rapid intake of ORS (Oral Rehydration Solution)
  2. Use of drugs like tetracycline and chloramphenicol.
