Social division based on gender discrimination are found both in public sector and private sector. It is during the feeding of boys and girls that the feeling of the family is inclucated that the main responsibility of girls is limited to run the household and raising children. There job is to cook, clean clothes, sew embroider raise a children etc.
Women do many things for extra income in their domestic work but they are not given importance.
Most of the sphere of public life is in the hands of men. His role in politics is negligible. For the first time in England in 1919, women got the right to vote. Literacy rate among women is only 54% while that of men is 74%. Girls are capable in school education but the numbers of girls getting higher education is less. Because of this, the number of women who are not high and reach high positions is less. According to a survey, a woman works for 1/2 hour a day while a man works for 6 hours. Still, the work of women is not important. Even today in many parts of India only boy is desired of India today. The number of women in the Lok Sabha has increased to 59, yet its percentage is just below.
Women coming into politics also belong to such families which have a political background women from common family get very less opportunity to join politics.
