An attempt by Public representative to make a family member sit on the vacant seat is called familyism. After joining politics, the political star of his family members shines not due to merit but because of the first politician of his family. Bihar is also no exception to this. Familiar, tendencies are found in most of the political parties of Bihar. The disastrous consequences of parivarbad in Bihar had to be faled by the same politicians who encouraged familyism.
