Ans. Emperor Aurangzeb banned the playing of the pungi. In my opinion, this ban of the pungi was against the right to expression. It might be that the sound of pungi was piercing and unpleasing to him but he should not have banned it. One should not forget that everybody has the right to have his individual choices. No emperor has the right to deprive the public or the common masses of a means of expression. It is an undue victimisation to the people and the society.
