Ans. According to the author Satyajit Ray most of the Indian films are replete with such visual dissonances. They look for only material gain. The cinema has become a phenomenon and a potent force in making the seers way-ward and westernized. It has the tendency to uproot our age old cultural and social ties. Stories have been based on Hollywood. Thus Indian cinema does not apply this reality. Our culture is invaded by Hollywood pattern a kind of culture which is alien to our life-style. This should be avoided. Rather Indian film needs to produce the basic aspect of Indian life.
