Rural life —

1. The population of the village is less.
2. A Major part of the village population's engaged in agriculture related business. Such as agriculture and animal husbandry.
3. The natural environment in the village is clean.
4. The condition of education, transport, health facilities etc. in villages is lower than in cities.
5. village life is a symbol of traditions.
6. The possibilities are limited in the village.
7. Family bond is strengthened in villages.
8. Living in the village is based on subsistence economy.
9. There is cultural homogeneity among the people of the village.
10. The per capita place is more in villages.

Urban Life —

1. Cities have more population.
2. The urban population is mainly associated with trade and production.
3. The natural environment in cities is often polluted.
4. Education, transport, health facilities etc. are in advanced stage in cities.
5. Urban life is a symbol of modernity.
6. Unlimited possibilities are available in the city to satisfy the individual.
7. Loose or weak family bonds in cities.
8. Cities are based on money based economy.
9. There are multi coloured life style of people visible from different cultural backgrounds.
10. Cities have less per capita space.

Thus, there is a wide difference between rural and urban life so we would prefer to live in villages. Now, emphasising on rural reforms Govt. is trying its best.
