The most important of the challenges is the expansion of democracy. In countries where there is no democratic government, it should be established. Like after the end of the monarchy in Nepal, the democratic system there has been collapsed. it needs to be taken out of it. Local governments can be established by making it more empowered. Democracy can be strengthened by ensuring proper participation of women and minority groups by applying the principles of the Sangh practically to all the units of the society. The functioning of democratic institutions can be strengthened by improving them. Corruption in the judiciary and declaration of foreign assets has alarmed democracy. Major challenges like inflation, unemployment, economic slowdown, global warming, climate change directive policy. Internal security defense preparedness, unity and integrity of the country, terrorist and separatist activities, Naxalite activities and economic crime etc. have strengthened democracy. Centre-state relations, and narrow mentality of political parties are also present as a challenge in India.
