When we look at Indian democracy in the context of all the achievements and results of democracy in North India, we have mixed reactions in our mind. There is also despair, but there is also hope or disappointments first appear in the form that there's no democracy in India or India is not suitable for democracy. Sometimes such comments are also heard that the democratic system is unsuccessful and crippled in comparison to all the governance systems. Naturally, democracy has to go through many processes. So its speed is definitely slow. Delay in justice due to the slow pace of growth, it seems that democracy is no better.
But, the democratic system is the best as compared to other undemocratic system. The future of democracy in India is bright. If we look in the context of 60-70 years of Indian democracy, we seem to have been quite successful in the chronology. The evaluation of the 15th Lok Sabha Elections 2009 shows that the people of India have simultaneously rejected the candidates of criminal image all over the country. Today, the credibility of Indian democracy has increased all over the world and its success. Other democratic countries are benefitting from its success.
