Municipal Corporation levies various types of taxes. Among the various types of taxes are house tax, water tax, toilet tax, animal tax, small vehicle tax, hand cart, rickshaw tax etc. are prominent.

The amount of income received from these taxes is so small that the work of the municipal corporation cannot be carried out by it.

Due to which the state government compensates the annual budget of the corporation by giving financial grants from time to time. The municipal corporation earns income through various types of actions.
