The geographical condition for tea production is as follows :

  • sloping plateau three in which drainage can be done easily. The soil should be in organic matter
  • 25° - 30° degree temperature
  • 200-250 cm of rain water which is kept intermittently till the crop is planted.
  • Cheap skilled labour who can pluck the tea beans. Producing Areas Assam, West Bengal Tamilnadu and Kerala.
